Having spent over 15 years in Paris and San Francisco, Zoltan Alexander, the founder of ZOLTAN+MEDIA is currently working in London as Art Director, Video Producer, Journalist and Art Critic.

We supply a fully integrated creative service including branding, art direction, new media design, video production and video journalism, demonstrating a true pro-active attitude, delivering a unique and creative solution with innovation and imagination.


Having graduated with MA Hons. in London, Zoltan Alexander gained recognition at British Vogue, subsequently moved to Paris to collaborate with French Vogue and major fashion and luxury brands including Comité Montaigne, LVMH, Louis Vuitton, Saint Laurent, Christian Dior, Chanel, Cartier, Issey Miyake in Japan and in fashion photography with Harper's Bazaar in New York, 

In 2000, he turned his focus to art direction and established his design company ZOLTAN+MEDIA to employ a wide range of powerful visuals to create brand imaging with definitive, contemporary style. His personal expertise is often sought out to establish new businesses, magazines and provide strong conceptual directions to brands and publications.


To broaden his expertise in new media he spent 5 years in San Francisco. As an independent curator he collaborated with SFMOMA on their 75th Anniversary exhibition.

In 2010, he was invited by MOME Photography Department in Budapest, followed by IBS International Business School, Arts Management & Video Production to develop a series of lectures and consultations to a high academic standard.


In 2014, the New York-based magazine Ubikwist offered him a dual position, that of Art Director, to set the general theme of the publication as well as Feature Editor, which entailed discovering emerging contemporary artists, produce features and interviews.

In 2016, he moved back to London to work with London Advertising and the Mandarin Oriental Hotel Group on their digital campaign “He’s a Fan” and produced videos of Lucy Liu, Isabelle Huppert, Morgan Freeman.


Zoltan Alexander is currently devoting his time to develop a cultural podcast/radio programme, a series of personality interviews with British and international artists, designers, destined to be aired on BBC Radio4 and other related platforms.


He is also part of the editorial team of ArtLyst, UK-based contemporary art magazine. His reviews and interviews are based on art exhibitions covering Freeze London, Freeze Masters, ParisPhoto, PhotoLondon, PAD London & Paris, Masterpiece London, FIAC and many other art events. 


ZOLTAN+MEDIA has an in-house video production, producing art, design and fashion orientated videos including portraits of emerging, contemporary artists and galleries.
